From the start of the server, there has been a forbidden region north of Spawn walled off by a mysterious barrier:
The barrier has just disappeared, revealing a treasure hunt for the top 17 miners from the March Mining Madness event!
If you were in the top 17 miners (aegisjester – The_Real_Lego), visit the mail room at Spawn – you will find your treasure map leading you to your event reward! WARNING: your “X” will disappear when you get close to your site, so remember it well!

April is finally here, and its time for a new build contest!
This month, we are looking to build a new Nether Portal building at spawn. This will take players to the Nether Hub, but it also needs to have a warp point for future events.
As always, submissions need to be made by leaving the coordinates as a comment on this post, or by posting them to our official forum thread on minecraftforums.

Our March event focuses on mining! Go figure! We are currently working on a new Wither Skeleton Farm in the Nether, which requires a HUGE excavation.
To get things moving along, we are offering up 4x mining XP for Netherrack for the month of March. If you want to get in on the action, break out your fanciest pickaxe, and head to the “Wither Dig” warp at spawn to get in on the action! This is a great opportunity to take advantage of the SkillSwap to build levels on other skills too!
For the duration of the event, the tab scoreboard will also keep a tally of how much Netherrack you’ve mined – so keep it up!
Dates: March 2 – March 31 2019
Details: Earn 4x MCMMO mining XP from Netherrack. Digging at the Wither Farm excavation site is encouraged. You can find a warp to the Dig Site near the Skyblock warp at Spawn.
Love is in the air with the MinecraftLovers Valentine’s Event!
From Feb 12 – 28, all players get 4x alchemy XP – so get out those brewing stands and whip up some potions!
Also during this event, you can temporary craft new Love Potions!
Love Potions will grant the drinker Absorption, Health Boost, and Damage Resist. However, since you become smitten on drinking, you also get Weakness, unable to do much damage in combat!
To brew a Love Potion, follow these steps:
Keep in mind that with these special potions, the brewing stand won’t show the brewing progress (but it will still brew in the normal time). Happy mixing!

The next build contest is an important one – a new Welcome Center!
This is the first Build Contest with NO SIZE RESTRICTION – build as much as you see fit! We also have a bigger build window, lasting from January 4, 2019 through January 31. Voting will begin on February 1.
The winning build will be a new Welcome Center – this will be the first place new users will find themselves when logging in. The welcome center must include:

The hostile mobs of Minecraftlovers are getting in on the holiday cheer, with special gifts available to mob hunters! Through December 31, hostile mobs have a chance of dropping their heads!
This is in addition to the Holiday Party, so brew up some Spiked Eggnog and Holiday Wine and get hunting! Oh, and don’t forget to vote for the December Build Contest!

Its the end of the year, and time to party! Join us in celebrating the holidays through the end of the year and brew up some fun!
For the duration of the event, you will earn double MCMMO Alchemy XP.
To help get things brewing, and get everyone in the holiday spirit, new festive potions have been added too! Note: If you brew these custom potions, the progress bar in the brewing stand WILL NOT MOVE – but the potions are still brewing (just give it a few seconds to complete)!
A holiday classic! A hearty glass of Spiked ‘Nog will give you Haste 2, Speed 2, Fire Resistance, and Glowing effects for 5 minutes! To brew your own bottles of Spiked Eggnog, you will need:

Mulled wine is another holiday classic. This warm, refined drink will make you feel invincible, giving you 2 extra hearts through Absorbtion, plus Health Boost and Damage Resistance for 5 minutes! To brew up some Mulled Wine, you will need:

The year is coming to an end, but there’s time for one last build contest!
For December, we are in desperate need for a new Build Contest Building!
The size of the build contest will be 15×15, with an extra 5 blocks on each side available for landscaping. It can also be 15 blocks tall and 15 blocks high.
The building will be used for voting on build contests. This means it needs a place for us to put the Warps (you can decide if the warps will be signs, pressure plates, or buttons), and a place for people to put their signs for voting.
We also need a “Hall of Fame”, an area where we will feature builds that previously one (so needs more places for warps, and lots of them).
Voting begins on December 17.

Thanksgiving is coming, and it is time to bring in the harvest! We need everyone’s help to bring in enough food from the fields to last through the winter.
